Baby Pink Ric Rac Trimming Braid

Three metres of 7mm rick rack (ric rac) braid trimming ribbon. Colour: light pink/baby pink. This superb quality braid may be hand sewn, machine stitched, or glued, to the edges of a multitude of different items. This classic zig zag patterned trim adds a decorative finished edge to curtains, cushions, aprons, skirts, dresses, hats, pinafores, dolls clothes, handkerchiefs, household linens, dressmaking fabrics, dancewear, theatrical costumes, party clothes and hats. Also used for card crafts, invitations and scrapbooking. Historical note: ric rac first appeared in the 1860's and was originally called waved crochet/lacet braid. Please note that the wooden bobbin featured in our stock photograph is for display purposes and is not supplied.
