A reel of 0.5mm gauge shirring elastic for machine sewing, masks, craft and general use. Colour: black. We also sell elastic glides for easy threading, black colour darning wool, linen thread, fabric repair tape, and hat elastic.  Instructions for Machine Sewing with Shirring Elastic: Wind shirring elastic onto bobbin evenly by hand. Use regular sewing thread on top with medium size needle and tension. Select a medium stitch length. The longer the stitch, the tighter the gather. Material should be fed evenly and flat whilst sewing. Finally, press with iron and damp cloth
