6mm Tape - knitsewcraft.co.uk online store

We have been trading for 20 years and our best selling versatile standard/basic traditional black and white cotton twill tape (sometimes called India tape) has certainly stood the test of time. 6mm wide unbranded cotton twill tape is used for face masks, mittens, flag bunting strings and pennants, apron strings, ties on closing garments (hospital gowns) and privacy curtains, pinafore ties, workwear apparel, kitchen garments, garden seat pads/chair cushion ties, quilt cover ties, casings, crafts, drawstrings, seam binding, espadrilles, dressmaking and crafts. Some of our stock photographs feature a wooden bobbin - this is for display purposes only and is not supplied. Please note that all cut to order tapes, webbings, trimmings etc., are cut from the manufacturer’s reel to the customer’s specific requirements and are therefore excluded from our returns policy and are not returnable. It is common for dyelot numbers and colour shading to vary between the many hundreds of metres of fabric reels purchased, due to manufacturing changes, when our stock is replenished and new consignments arrive. This is particularly relevant to all cut to order items and is something that is beyond our control and we cannot guarantee that additional purchases of the same product will be a perfect colour match for previous orders due to this and the volume of sales processed through our website. We also stock acrylic, and cotton, herringbone pattern webbing tape in a wide range of colours from naturals and pastels to vibrant shades and rich tones, in addition to plain woven coloured Manubens/Safisa cotton tape. Because our narrow fabrics are obtained from a wide range of suppliers, the actual size, shape and shade of each different reel may vary, due to different manufacturing methods and this is beyond our control. Please bear in mind that meterages are guides and not precise units. Slight creasing on the reel may occur, due to suppliers storage time and the distance the cotton has travelled before it reaches us. Any creasing should disappear when gently pressed out with your iron set on a medium temperature. If you are purchasing more than one, cut to order length of tape, we will supply a continuous length of fabric whenever possible
