This Prym/Inox tatting shuttle is supplied in original packaging. The shuttle measures approx. 6cm long and is made from plastic. Lightweight, comfortable to hold and easy to work with, this superb gadget is used to create elegant handmade, durable lace and filet crochet pieces by looping and knotting with a single thread. This item does not have a hook attached, although we do sell Pony tatting shuttles with hooks. Bobbin colour and Prym packaging may vary from photograph as Prym make this product in more than one style of blister pack. Tatting is a craft that dates from the early 19th Century and is used to make stylish lace edging, doilies, bookmarks, baby bonnets, booties, and even bridal veils. Tatted craftwork also encompasses decorative edgings on handkerchiefs, purses, placemats, cards, and clothing (especially collars).
